I'm looking forward to practice tonight @ 7:00 p.m.! I feel reasonably sure that we won't have time to complete this entire plan. It's just too much singing. And unfortunately, an hour of rehearsal isn't enough time to wade through it all. However, I'm going to do my best to get us as far as we can.
The first two songs (from the Ready to Sing book) are pretty easy to learn, if you don't already know them. I'm planning on doing one of them on Sunday morning. It will depend on how quickly you (the choir) pick them up as to which one we'll sing. I'm guessing that the 2nd one will be easier and more well known, but I've been wrong before! The songs from the 2 Mike Speck books, Testify and Marching to Zion, are harder than the two selections from Ready to Sing but aren't "difficult" by any stretch. They won't be "ready to sing" --ha ha -- after just one rehearsal, though.
